What is your favorite season of year? Why?
Well, being from a region that doesn’t experience snow, I’m going to have to go with my favorite season being the rainy season. Now, I know some folks might think I’m crazy for loving the season where it pours all day every day, but hear me out.
For starters, there’s nothing quite like the fresh, clean scent of the rain when it hits the ground. It’s a welcome break from the usual heat, and it fills the air with a sort of rejuvenating energy. And hey, with humidity levels soaring outside, there’s always an excuse to stay indoors and snuggle up with a good book or movie. Can’t complain about that, right?
The monsoon season has finally arrived! And here I am, with a big ol’ stupid grin on my face, watching the raindrops hit my window.
I don’t know whether it’s just the soothing sound of the rain against the roof or the cozy feeling of being nestled up inside with nowhere to go… but the monsoon season is definitely my favorite. And boy, is it raining heavily here! Buckets and buckets of rain are falling from the sky and I couldn’t be happier.
Of course, there are always those who grumble about the monsoon season. They complain about the mud, the traffic, the dampness and everything else you can think of. But me? I wouldn’t trade the monsoon season for all the sunny days in the world. Because there’s something so alive and invigorating about this season, something that makes me feel connected to the world and ready to take on anything.
So if you need me over the next few weeks, chances are I’ll be indoors, gazing out at the rain and feeling grateful for the monsoon.

For us who love the rains 😊
