Well I’m back to share some scary stories with you again โบ๏ธ todays story is one of the best most popular spooky stories from Korea that I’ve stumbled upon. it was featured on a Korean horror show and got a ton of media attention for this particularly haunted spot so brace yourself.
I’m really into horror stories because they make me wonder what do we actually know about the world. Maybe we don’t really know anything so let me ask you do you believe in ghost stories??I find myself thinking about this sometimes especially late at night when all those spooky tales feel more real but then you have scientists and skeptics who say it’s all an illusion just our brains not working right.
Think about physicists.. those curious people who dive into the mysteries of nature, they often try to explain paranormal stuff using science to debunk it but in today’s story our main character is a physicist.it’s about this woman named chii a physicist with an incredible story she went on TV and shared this terrifying experience she had something she can’t even explain to this day.
so this story takes us back to a chilling evening on February 15th 2011….Chii was driving home after a long day at work the road home was a winding path through the mountains shrouded in dense fog that night making visibility nearly zero it’s already kind of ominous right she was cautiously driving relying on her GPS for guidance but suddenly she felt something off about the road it wasn’t just a feel the texture of the road has changed it was definitely an Asel road before but suddenly it felt like it had turned into a rough unpaved trail she wondered if she had missed a direction from the GPS but it kept insisting she was on the right path so with no other roads in sight she decided to continue following the GPS just as she was wondering how much further she had to go go the navigation system began repeatedly instructing her to make a left turn. So she turned the steering wheel but she immediately had to slam on the brakes. Right in front of her was a pool of black water rippling eerily in the darkness when she got out to look she saw no street lights anywhere and at the end of this abruptly cut off road lay a vast dark Reservoir so dark that its depth and size were indiscernible. Her first instinct was to leave quickly so there she was reversing in the pitch dark while the GPS kept insisting go straight.. go straight.. as if there was no other way. She ignored it and continued reversing then the GPS started recalculating the route repeating recalculating recalculating recalculating over and over it it was so terrifying that she just turned off the GPS and drove away as carefully as she could after what felt like ages she finally saw a familiar Road I mean she almost died she was so relieved that she got out of that place okay thanks for waiting the first thing in her mind at that moment moment was her mom so she called her mom and told her that she almost died she told her mom I follow the GPS and it led me to a huge Reservoir when she told her she just said that’s why I told you not to take that road she was so scared obviously so she didn’t want to recall the earlier incident so she tried to change the topic and asked her mom about her day her mom said that she had gone out with friends that day and and one of them to jong’s mom had treated everyone to celebrate her son’s first paycheck but she was at a loss for words upon hearing this because to jong’s mother had passed away 3 years ago when she pointed this out her mom suddenly fell silent all she could hear in the car was her own breathing and the call hadn’t ended she was so scared she looked at her phone not knowing what to do when this strange laughter began to come through she immediately hung up but her mom called back right away so she answered she told her mom that there was a weird sound on her end of the call she asked her what was that like what’s going on but she never got an answer instead her mom asked her in a strange voice why didn’t you keep going she had never heard this voice before and what she could only think was to turn off her phone I’m I’m actually getting Goosebumps right now I think it’s ready to peel off so I’ll be back in a minute but the calls kept coming so she decided to block them the scariest part was when she noticed her phone showed no service there was no way that she could have been talking to her mom over the phone feeling completely helpless and terrified she threw her phone out of the window and kept driving on a familiar road and surprisingly nothing happened she arrived home safely her mom who was at home was shocked so to see her estate she was a mess she told the entire story she told her mom what had happened but her mom said she never made or received any calls that’s that was strange thinking maybe she was just too tired or out of her mind. She just thought that road was just really dangerous I should never take that road and she decided to move past the incident.So a week after that chilling incident on February 22nd, Tuesday, as she was driving home along the highway avoiding that Mountain Road she was driving when suddenly there was a bright flash and the next thing she knew she was looking up at a white ceiling everything felt so unreal her mom was there crying tears of relief seeing she was so glad she woke up it turned out that she had been in a traffic accident and was in a coma for 2 days so she was trying to make sense of everything looking around her hospital room and realized it was only February 17th , Thursday just 2 days after the near Miss at the reservoir and that terrifying experience so it turned out that she had the accident on the day she almost drove into the reservoir and had been in a coma for the two following days she heard that right after she escaped from the place when she thought she was talking to her mom but heard this strange voice she actually collided with a car driving the wrong way she wondered where the whole week she thought she’d lived through had gone but then reasoned it must have been a dream while she was in a coma so a week later she got better and was moved to a regular Ward one night she was sleeping there when suddenly she felt something cold touching her arm so she half opened her eyes and saw a nurse’s uniform thinking it was just the nurse she tried to go back to sleep but but the woman didn’t leave there was no medical procedure or no taking happening she was just standing there so she half opened her eyes and glanced down at her legs and the legs looked weird they looked wet and the flesh seemed to be rotting she was so shocked that she made a noise and then she saw this woman p with blood red eyes whispering to her do you want to know why I died and she realized it was the same voice she heard on the phone the day she almost drove into the reservoir she was terrified so she ran out of the hospital room pulling off the IV and everything and just as she collided with something her mom started crying with relief again saying she was glad she woke up afraid she might never have woken up again the same scene so again she had been in a traffic accident and was in a coma for 2 days but when she looked around she realized it was still February 17th a Thursday it was as if she gone back a few days or rather she never really woke up the only difference was that this time behind her mom stood the dead woman with blood red eyes seeing that she fainted and after that she recovered quickly and was able to leave the hospital in just a few days but the whole experience left her feeling uneasy and just scared so she did something she never would usually do, she went to see a shaman with her mom and as soon as the shaman saw them she said the two of you brought something with you and after hearing her story the shaman noticed a strand of hair from the reservoir woman attached to her own after a cleansing ritual at the reservoir she slowly started to feel better both mentally and physically so people in the village said that there was a young woman who took her own life in that Reservoir known as Saluki Saluki is a reservoir located in yzan County South Chun Chong Province fishermen have often seen the figure of a woman emerging from the deep Waters she never believed in these kinds of Supernatural things but now she wonders why this happened to her she’s left questioning which which parts of her experience were real and which were just a dream it’s really interesting you know like how many stories are out there about the SRA Reservoir it’s like a magnet for Ghost Hunters and there are tons of stories online about bad stuff happening to people who went there just for fun or for Content honestly I think it’s best to just stay away from places like that better safe than sorry right so today’s story was about the experience of chii the physicist who used to be very skeptical about ghosts or anything Supernatural what do you think about her story was it a blend of reality and unconsciousness created by the brain in a coma or was it a terrifying Supernatural pH phenomenon caused by this Restless Spirit of the reservoir even if there is a right answer it’s hard for us to find it hope you like today’s story and stay tuned for more.
