What are your morning rituals? What does the first hour of your day look like?

Mornings. Sometimes they greet you with sunshine and birdsong, other days…not so much. 

But whatever the forecast, those first few moments can really set the tone for your entire day.

For me, the ideal first hour is all about creating a gentle launchpad. Hitting snooze is definitely tempting but there’s something satisfying about starting the day without a rude awakening. 

A glass of water is a must – hello hydration! –  followed by a cup of coffee or tea (depending on my mood) while I catch up on the news or get lost in a good book.

If I’m feeling energetic, a quick morning workout or some yoga poses can work wonders. It wakes me up, gets my blood flowing and leaves me feeling ready to tackle anything.

The important part is finding what works for you.

Maybe it’s journaling, listening to your favorite upbeat music, or simply savoring a quiet breakfast.

The key is to choose activities that center you and set a positive intention for the day ahead.  After all, a positive morning ripple effect can make all the difference!
