To clutch at a love that has lost its shine
Would be dishonest to pretense a futile design
Life’s only certainty ; a kaleidoscope of change
Letting go of love…. with delicate soul-searched exchange.
Grateful for the cherished moments, we must part –
Finding peace amid the chaos of the heart
Forgiveness, healing, the pillars of new starts …
As we venture forth with renewed hopes over the heart.
Farewell… my love, though I’ll always treasure our past
We must accept and move on, graciously steadfast,
My heart.. a vessel, will navigate through;
Bidding adieu to love.. for healing to ensue.
