Are you a leader or a follower?
I would say that I’m both. π
I believe that in life, there are times when it’s essential to take charge and lead and also crucial to support and collaborate with others as a follower.
As a leader, I am confident in my abilities to set a vision, create a plan of action, and motivate others to achieve a common goal. I also understand the responsibilities that come with being a leader, such as making tough decisions, solving complex problems, and being accountable for outcomes.
As a follower, I embrace the opportunity to be part of a team that can work together, share knowledge and skills, and combine strengths. I believe that a great follower is someone who is proactive, consistently looking for ways to contribute, supporting their team, and learning from others while being respectful of their leader’s authority.
Being both a leader and follower requires a range of qualities such as adaptability, collaboration, accountability and empathy, which are invaluable qualities in today’s ever-changing world.
I see being a leader or follower as complementary functions with both roles working together to achieve a team’s or organization’s objective.
Whether you are a leader or follower, what matters most is your willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to the team’s success in whatever capacity you are best suited to.
